Euthanasia In the Comfort of Home

Is your senior pet having issues and you need to talk through options? Are you dreading having your pet's final moments in a clinical setting? Give them a peaceful passing in the comfort of their own home, or in another location of your choice. Is your pet's favorite spot the beach, or outside in the grass? Is the couch your pet's favorite spot of relaxation? We can usually accommodate any location to make your pet's final moments with you very comfortable and special. Our mobile unit also offers a private location at your door step as an option if you prefer. Our wish is to be there to support you through this difficult day. We understand how hard it is to make the decision to say goodbye, but recognize that our pets are fortunate to receive this final gift of a peaceful passing surrounded by loved ones.

The Euthanasia Process

We usually give a mild sedative/pain reliever prior to the euthanasia process. This will help your pet relax and be pain free. We then place an IV catheter (port in the vein) so your pet feels no pain. We give an overdose of an anesthetic through this port so your pet will peacefully fall asleep and pass away. You have the option of home burial or cremation options. In addition, we make a clay paw print for you to keep as a memory of your beloved pet. Please contact us for more information.
